FACT: South Sydney haven't won at Kogarah since 1994.

Serious prediction - Saints missing Creagh/Merrin can be accounted for, Souths missing Taylor and Inglis is a far great blow.

And last year the hoodoo was WIN Stadium where we'd never won. Just another random fact that means nothing.

Saints are also without Scott and Prior while Souths may see the return of Luke Burgess

Their forward pack is highly depleted

Merritt might be adequate cover at FB, but his wing replacement in either Fetuli or Corrigan is a defensive liability and attacking disaster waiting to happen.

Sam Burgess doesn't replace DT :? - DT and Burgess played in the same team last week FFS

i hope Saints are favourites . i think Souths should win and i would like to wager , if the odds make it worthwhile.

As for the wing replacing Merritt , i expect it will be either Mcqueen or Roberts.

Sam will be having his second game back from spell , so his performance should lift on his last game , same for Merritt. Also a chance Luke Burgess will be back

Yes , Jubilee is a hoodoo , however time to break that especially as the Saints pack is weakened and lets face it , Saints are on a slide this year anyway. Good test for Souths and coach madge.

Fetuli is barely making Norths at the moment, where he has been moved to center anyway. I doubt he'll ever see first grade again though

Merritt at fullback means either Roberts comes back into first grade or McQueen goes to the wing

Corrigan is no winger

As for DT and SB. We've had one of the two - Taylor without Burgess for almost 2 months and were doing fine. We needed both against a pack like the Sharks. We don't need both to handle a depleted Dragons

Wrong, James Roberts will be given a game...

As if you have any credibility Nostradumbarse...

Theoretically, we should put 50 on them, especially having played them WITH Scott Prince and they're now without him (I think).

Realistically I think we'll probably win 1-12.

realistically, your pathetic bullturds just got spanked by the reigning spooners without them even breaking a sweat... oh and Souths spanked you as well iirc.

Will be able to get a far greater indication after tonight. If we click and get a good win, then I'm confident we'll get the Bunnies out wide next week and win by 10.

Will have to defend very well, plenty of points in them but GI & peaheart are massive losses.

Can't understand the underestimation of Souths, they are definitely on the improve. Saints without Prior, Scott, and now Merrin and Creagh. Big hole and a real test of depth. Most people (including many Saints fans) don't seem to get what a problem there is resulting from Prior's loss. Plays 80 mins which allows the concentration of the interchange on the more 'impact' oriented forwards. That luxury gone now. Inglis and Taylor are losses, but Souths won't be rolled easily.

Won 4 of our last 5. Yes we'll miss DT and GI but they have players in Origin as well and could have several more out injured from tonights game.

We've had a very very very tough first 9 weeks in terms of fixtures, this stretch coming up is a bit easier so we really need to get maximum points from the next month or so.

We're just 2 points from second. I reckon Melbourne has the minor premiership sealed but anything from 2nd downwards is up for grabs.

Souths by 12 if we're going to get to where we want to be this season.

The only way souths have looked like scoring points this year is through inglis and Taylor. However considering saints are going to be missing 37 forwards it's hard to see them getting up

Souths have 2 byes in a row, hardly seems fair to other teams.

They will belt us by 40 next week.

We won't be able to field a pack.
Creagh, Merrin, Scott, Prior, Weyman, Fien all gone.....Young unlikely.

Will be a good game for Souths for and against.

Not looking good. Very, very thin up front now. A great deal of guts needed to claw this one back methinks. For the first time in a number of years I am actually feeling pessimistic about a game. It's OK for me to, I just hope the boys don't feel the same.
