Cannot win a GP game, knew we were gone if we didnt do something half-decent in regulation time. Vidot should be gone now, bet Price does nothing. gutsy effort souffs, well done

Congratulations Souths-well done. I though we were the better team out there today (unlike last Monday) but Souths managed to come through and get the chocolates when it mattered most.

Surely we can beat Parramatta......:?

Awesome game. Would have been heartbreaking to lose for either team. But I reckon we deserved it considering we outscored them 19-6 in the final 60.

Sam Burgess is a scary human and Adam Reynolds gets better with every game. Best part is he grew up in Redfern 300m from Redfern oval as a Souths fan and always dreamt of wearing our colours. He understands and appreciates the history we have, the jersey means that extra little bit for him and having players like that in your team is priceless.

How many of you that said we were f**ked after losing Sandow saw us being outside the top 4 only on for and against after the toughest opening schedule in the comp?

Another factor that makes it an even more valuable win is it's Origin week and we were without 2 of our most inform players.

Canberra next up, we have a good chance of being properly in the top 4 a week from now.

Why? You're gonna suck every bit as much next season as what you do now. Or are you planning on getting rid of 75% of your team and replace them with blokes that can actually play?
Thanks captain obvious....Let a man have a whinge for f**k sakes!!!:lol:I know you aren't used to it supporting the storm but you will know how i feel at some point in the future.

Who ya gonna buy?
Hunt who played on the wing tonight has been going great in NSW cup and Luke Keary has been killing it in Toyota cup. One of those two will be Reynolds' long term halves partner.

6 months ago I wanted us to buy one but with those good prospects emerging I hope we focus our cap space on retainment. We have the coach. We have the players now, it's just about keeping them together and having them grow in expierience together.

The narrow heartbreaking losses early in the year did us the world of good. Since then opening 3 or 4 weeks we've been a lot better at keeping our heads in crunchtime.

With Inglis there, a solid 5/8th like Sutton is perfect.
Sutton is a backrower and is playing like a backrower who kicks with GI taking over the 5/8 role in the redzone.

When Hunt or Keary are ready for a spine position it would be in the teams best interest and in Suttons best interest to formally go into the backrow.

Maybe. He takes the wrong options too often though, he just does not have a footballer's brain. He gives hospital passes more often than not. Goes short when he should go wide. I've never seen him do a cut out pass, He can't kick for shit.

Sutton would be a great player in the forwards with the ability to offload.

I think Hunt and our NYC halfback Luke Keary would both be better options to go at five-eight

Thanks mate, commiserations to you guys.

Well done to the Saints pack, they really stood up today with so many out.

The backs looked dangerous when spreading it and Soward played well too.

I didnt expext an easy win, and I take this as a big win for us, beating the Saints at Kogarah.

We asked for that.

I place the blame on Vidot for his errors, but more squarely on Hornby and Soward and, above all, Price.

2010 is done. The team needs to change its approach to the game. The senior blokes need to make better decisions in the last 20 and the coach needs to see whats happening and adjust.

Lack of smarts and adventure are obvious at Saints this year. They must take the game on to start moving forward again. Short term pain and some beatings, but its better than this shot. They are bottoming out and Price will no doubt say he was happier with the effort today.

Here's a newsflash Steve - you need to coach some change into these guys. If they're executing your game plan as instructed and you can't see its taking us backwards, then there's the door pal.
