Dragons to win on Monday in the worst game of rugby league ever (beating last Friday's effort vs GC). Scoreline 2-1.. a 89th min Soward FG.

So the Raiders without Shaun Berrigan, Joe Picker, Glen Buttriss, Jack Wighton, Terry Campese, Brett White, Josh Dugan, Trevor Thurling, Joel Thompson and David Shillington.

Against the Dragons without Kyle Stanley, Michael Weyman, Brett Morris, Beau Scott, Ben Creagh and Trent Merrin.

Might as well rename the match Mounties v Cutters...

Doesn't matter what we call it, we just can't win down there for some reason.

The Raiders have won 12 out of their last 13 games against the Dragons.

Dont worry, it's not as bad as our record against Melbourne in which we've won 2 of our last 20.

Surely the Dragons (and all of the other clubs for that matter) can insist that Ricky Stuart name the 17 for SOO before this weekends games commence. Shadow players are allowed to play for their clubs and the club/s of the two players to miss out will be justifiably pissed off if they also miss out turning out for their clubs.

Stuart won't be allowed to have it his way, the fringe players set not to play SOO will have to be released by Friday.

I hope so. Is this a fact (i.e., is there a rule that states Stuart MUST do this) or do we just have to hope that Stuart acts on his own "good will"?

Can't pick this one. I think it will tell us if Dragons have any hope of making a push for the 8 this season

Fire - it's fact, same with Queensland, they have to allow players outside the playing 17 to return to their clubs.

With most players under injury concerns (Slater, Stewart) etc you'd expect Stuart/Mal to know by Friday anyway.

Dragons side named, no NSW players listed. Nightingale to fullback, De Belin and Marketo starting in the forwards. Josh Miller the new face.

See post #1

Referees confirmed also - they're wearing white, so expect the Dragons to wear the scarlet.

Oh FFS Maxwell is still in first grade.

Looks like the Dragons have named every fit ex-Raider they have... Soward, Vidot, Goodwin, Miller.... as good a way as any to try and break the curse I guess

That's great news. Thanks for clearing that up Timmah, much appreciated!

I think we'll see and end to the hoodoo this year.

This season has just been one constant kick in the guts for Raiders fans..........let the good times roll.
