watch it again mate

cherry evans runs BEHIND lussick, if lussick doesnt get the ball its a shepard

there is no two ways about it, heighington tackled him because he HAS to get the ball

Learn the rules and try again.

You'll see a thousand collisions like that all season.

One of your Storm players hit Fensom like that just last week but no one raised an eyebrow.

I dont agree with the penalty, but it was the right call by the rules.

(then again half the refs don't even know the rules.)

There was no sheppard. Heighington hit him before it could happen. Therefore tackled without the ball, penalty to Manly.
Well done obeying the letter rather than the spirit of the law.

Nevermind what it was to the letter of the laws (many of which are dumb), use your eyes and head.

Why would a defender want to tackle someone whose run past the ball?

Tackling the man without the ball was designed to stop defenders taking out a potential attacking option.

The shepherding rule was designed to stop people blocking defenders.

Guess which happened there?

I don't care what the technical wording of the rules are. That situation was obstruction of a defender, not taking out a non ball carrier.

With Benji 'Worlds Best Player' Marshall and Tim 'NSW Origin Candidate' Moltzen in the halves Robbie Farah really needs to take a back seat and just concentrate on playing hooker.

He isn't a playmakers arsehole and just wastes oppurtunities.

Hopefully the Tigers push on and win this one by 13+

Wouldn't mind Darcy Lussick firing up though. Bit of biff would be nice.

TRYTIME. Told youse. Benji = best player in the world.

Manly and the Tigers are pretty much the only non Souths teams I can watch and not get the shits with the teams involved. I'm that much of a fan of Benji and Foran,

Anyone who says Benji isn't the best player in the world knows nothing about League or is just a hater/troll.

Benji isnt the best player in the world

Now i know you have never played the game before but the simple fact is you cant hit a decoy runner, even if they have ran past the ball.

if heighington hadnt have hit him it would have been a Tigers penalty.

Tigers doing it easy.

Besides that last penalty, no luck tonight for Manly.

Hope T-Rex's injury isn't too bad.

I've seen decoy runners get taken out countless times with no penalty. It was the severity of the hit that made them blow the whistle.
