We're making a statement in this game and going to make the comp aware that we're coming to finals footy to shake things up.

It all starts on Saturday against the Doggies :)

And you're welcome, Rabbitohs.

The Bulldogs. Top of the table. 9 straight wins. Strike players right across the park including the form fullback of the competition. A superb coach who has delivered 2 premierships in 4 years. A menacing forward pack with an optimum mix of size, speed, aggression and ball playing ability.

Against the ninth placed Knights who have only strung some wins together lately due to the indifferent form of Manly, Warriors and Canberra. This week we come up against real competition. And we will get shown up for the pretenders that we are.

Bulldogs by 20. Barba to pull off yet another blinder. God help the Knights because the sun is about to set on our finals aspirations.

Thank you, paying us back for knocking off the Tigers.

Do this for us and we will try to throw in the Titans too.

The knights are premiership favourites and also our bogie team.

We tend to underestimate them when we play them.

Us by 2 in an upset against the premiership favourites.

Knights are the benchmark right now

Even the Dogs supporters are starting to sound like Dessie.

This is getting scary.

The under the radar thing with the Dogs ended over a month ago.

Every one should be gunning for you now.

You have NFI, as defined by the great Des himself the benchmark is the teams that "have been there and done it". This obviously includes the knights who were in the finals last year and Bennet who has been there many times.

They're playing the best football in the NRL, get on the Knights crusade or go home.

Knights and Souths fans - get as chummy as you want.

Then look ahead to the Round 26 fixture.

You're gonna screw each other over eventually, better now than in Round 26.

That all said, Knights by 40.

When you talk about benchmarks, you're talking about sides that have been there and done it before. The knights won the premiership twice in 5 seasons, and Wayne Bennett knows premierships like the back of his hand, so right now you'd have to say the knights are the benchmark side of the competition

When we start scoring tries from opposition players passing the ball to us ten metres out from the try line and then having kicks rebound into our hands off the goal posts to score untouched I'll get on the "crusade" mate.

Till then, all the skill and luck is with the benchmark Dogs outfit and their two time Premiership winning coach.

All teams are now well and truly aware of what is happening with Dessies Dogs.

Somehow I don't think the betting agencies are going to buy into that theory and have Newcastle a short priced favourite for this week's clash.

Probably safe to say the benchmark team of the comp in most people's eyes and the betting agencies are the Dogs.

I think we will either win in this one and crash out against Brisbane, or lose this one and beat Brisbane. Going to say we will make it 10 in a row this week, in a thriller. Dogs by 2.
