Heaps keen for this game. There should be a massive crowd there at least 25K. Hopefully they play like they have been playing the last 3 weeks and get the win.

 This thread is brilliant and we're only at Sunday.

On the game, the Knights are pretenders and won't get within a bulls roar of the Bulldogs.

The 'Dogs have Ben Barba, Josh Morris, the bloke yet to be beaten in a Dogs' jersey (Krisnan Inu), the form five-eighth of the comp, as well as the best coach to ever coach the great game of rugby league.

The Knights have ... wait, who do they have?

Bulldogs by 30.

No reverse psychology here Mr Timmah. I was merely speaking the universal truth.

You guys really are the genuine article this year. I can imagine worse things than seeing my team drop out of the finals race because of the mighty Bulldogs. I mean if the Raiders knocked us off, that would've been downright disgraceful.

If we merely compete with your vastly superior team, that will be enough.

Just as an aside.

In the unlikely event of the Knights winning on Saturday, both the Dogs and Knights can combine to ensure the Rabbitohs don't win the Minor Premiership.

Should the Knights win on Saturday (which won't happen, but just say it did for argument's sake) and the Rabbits win on Sunday, they may go top of the table.

But when the Knights beat the Rabbits in R26 and the Dogs win their remaining games, the Rabbits won't end up with the Minor Premiership. Everyone wins - the Knights keep their charge to the finals and Souths finish second ... again.

Knights to roll the Dogs as we did in round 4. Barbas worst game of the year was him running backwards from Buderus. Dogs are a better side now than they were then but so are we.

Knights 28-18

+170 plays +103.

Being serious for a moment, I highly doubt we'll see such high margins in both this and the Bunnies/Titans match.

Somehow I don't think the betting agencies are going to buy into that theory and have Newcastle a short priced favourite for this week's clash.

Probably safe to say the benchmark team of the comp in most people's eyes and the betting agencies are the Dogs.

The reality is we lost to them last time. I wouldn't be surprised if the betting markets open and reflect that. Newcastle have Gagai and Uate in red hot form and they're not bad additions to any footy team.

All we can do is just prepare and see how it goes.

Has LU ever seen a friendlier game day thread?

f**k you guys.

Being serious for a second but I've got a lot of admiration for the Bulldogs in 2012. They play a very attractive and enterprising brand of football and it's good to see they've turned a corner after a few lean years. They very well may go all the way this year, but I'm just hoping my team can go toe to toe with them this Saturday.

Really this game should've been on FTA but since the Knights were probably still cannon fodder when the schedule was determined you can't really blame Nein in this case.

Should be a cracker in front of a full house. Serious prediction is Dogs by 4.

Should be a cracker of a game... Cannot wait! Buying my tickets today :) should be a massive crowd on saturday (With hopefully a good amount of Bulldog supporters). In 1995 the Knights beat us by 40 odd at Newcaslte, in 2004 the Knights beat us by 30 odd at Newcastle, we went on to win the GF on both occassions... Knights by 36 :)

HAHAHAHAHA!

We'll I suppose there is a very good reason you aren't a bookie then. You'd go broke on day one.

Dogs will be firm favourites and rightly so.

Gagai was solid but far from red hot yesterday.

I think you'll see the odds at around $1.80 for Knights to $2.50 for Dogs. They're fighting for the 8 and have knocked off the two Grand Finalists in a couple of weeks. If by some miracle we're considered favourites then I think you'll see a swing in the betting market towards Newcastle as the game gets close and more people come to their senses.

Knights beat the Dogs at ANZ stadium earlier the year,no reason they can't do it again at home in front of a big crowd
