LOL Bunnies having a whinge....Brisbane were much better, even allowing for some quality defence, watch Souths come about 6th though.
I'm not saying the refs changed the result of the game or that the Broncos didn't deserve to win. Just that we weren't given a chance because of some disgracefully one sided poor refereeing.

We should have been better with the ball but our defence was excellent. Losing to the 2nd best team in the comp does not mean we'll come 6th or that we're not top 4 material.

We go 4-0 over the next 4 weeks like I expect us to and we'll be firmly placed in the top 4 for the run home.

What decisions were wrong...please go on tell me. The strip was soft but it was there. The ref didn't cause Dave Taylor to be a spud! Even a Brisbane fan would think we are behind Manly at least especially at full strength. Your side is good, but if Everingham is centre next week, you are in struggle town, he is a ball hog.

I am glad you don't mention Issac Luke's 400 forward passes when Brisbane got pulled up twice..

to all realistic rabbitohs fans who expected a close game but still a loss, bad luck to you

to bunniesman, I hope you eat the biggest thickest dick you can find, you're a f**king optimist of the most unrealistic order and how good did that stat do you tonight?

:lol::lol:
f**king genius. I said I expected the Broncos to win. I tipped the Broncos in my tipping. Take your own advice you merkin.

Bunnies probably got hard done by on two of the tries. Copley try there was a forward pass and that dodgy penalty before the Glenn try. i thought the Broncos dominated the game though and the Bunnies kicking game was woeful apart from a few spiral bombs Inglis put up

Yet.....Luke throws every ball forward, the touch judges were probably used to Luke playing Gridiron. The penalty before the Glenn try was there, soft yes, but it was there

What about the Hoffman no try forward pass call. I was right there and it looked OK to me ? How did that look on TV ?

On the train home from the game.

The bombed try......really changed it for mine, the intercept almost bought it back, but Broncs too cool.

Blew it really......ftr got a free ticket to a corporate box, had to go...was fun. The pink, is ugly, good cause, but ugly
Agreed, they were on top at that point, terrible decision not to pass.

Souths are missing King at the moment, adds a bit of much needed stability across the 2-5. Hunt tries hard but i dont think he's a winger, was killing it at 5/8 for the Bears whenever i've seen him play there.

Yeh watching the replay now. Line ball I guess, cant complain to much about it.

Also Chris McQueen needs a new barber. Seriously how hard is it to do a buzz cut, but the merkin still missed a bit

Broncos played a good game no doubt, but we should've been going into the final 10 minutes locked at 12-12 rather than down 12-22 imo.. 2 pretty bad calls. Happens to every team every week though, refs are garbage this season.

If there is one team I definitely do not want to go up against in the finals apart from Melbourne, it is Brisbane in Brisbane. Hopefully we can avoid them, if we get that far.

I agree, there is something I just don't trust about our outside backs, can't really put my finger on it but they're lacking something (apart from Merritt).

I love the effort that Hunt and Everingham play with, but we will be a better side when King comes back and takes one of their places.

Some doubt there for mine.

One angle it looks flat out of the hands, but the reverse angle looks more damning.

Souths received some calls but none of them were scrutinised as much as the Broncos.

Also think a lot of people bought 9's Souths are underdogs stance.

I'm not taken by Brisbane and I'll be very disappointed and surprised if we don't win.
Dally M points:

3. James (Broncos)
2. Archer (Broncos)
1. Younis (Broncos)
Yup, makes sense...

LOL@5(C)uff$

FTR, I thought the bunnies put up a good fight, and defended their try line pretty well, but the Broncos rolled them easily in the forwards and broke the line at least 5 times from memory.
Souffs attack however was non-existant and were it not for woeful ball control from the Broncos in the first half, the result could and should have been well in the 30's or 40's. We controlled the ball much better in the second half and just ground souffs out...

As for the refs, at the game it seemed like Thaiday's pass to Hoffman may have floated forward, but the passing motion was backwards. Need to see the replay...
The Copley try was pretty bad though, that pass from Norman was forward by any standard. But then again, I think half of Luke's passes were forward as well and never called either!

Anyone trying to say the refs cost souffs the game aren't honest about what they saw.

Souths are getting pruned here

these refs are really screwing the bunnies

souths getting robbed tonight....

Souths have been reamed tonight. This bullshit try is curtains. Thanks for ruining another game Refs.

well someone got a handsome payout tonight. Job well done refs

Refs determine yet another game.
What an amateur competition we have

As a neutral, I was a little surprised that Petero's conversion attempt was waved away given the standard set by linesmen and referees tonight.

Cry more.

Forward passes all over the shop from both sides.
Souffs goal line defence was OK but against some pretty clueless Brisbane attack. Wallace always seems to take the most obvious option, after slowly thinking about it for several seconds.

Serious question, is there NO other centre available, because Everingham is NOT a centre, he is a winger. It is the worst coaching tactic, weakening two positions.

Hunt came to us as a fullback/five-eighth and Everingham is a specialist winger. If we have to make one of them into a makeshift centre I don't understand why they wouldn't go with the guy that's used to being closer to the play.

On tonight's game, the strip and forward pass calls were woeful but you can't let a team's forward make 50-60m every set and expect not to lose. Taylor had a stinker.
