f**k it's tough to be a Raiders fan sometimes. We'll probably even lose to the Dragons, that's how bad we're going.

That wide angle view showed a 3 man over-lap on their compressed defence... And they wonder why their line is getting broken all the time? If they are going to compress they need to be up and in quickly to cut the ball movement.

And that's their good side!

McCrone is VC and captain when Shillington is off.

Brett Suttor is a complete and utter f**kwit - something that we already know though.

Shillington was off, McCrone was captain as far as I'm aware, and the referee shut him down. It was rude and arrogant. Maybe McCrone is not captain with Shillo off? Raiders fans would know better than me.

Suttor starting to give penalties for anything now- he is obviously pissed off now, and we'll see an incorrect play the ball, walking off the mark, or even a scrum penalty soon!

At least the dissent penalties are going both ways.

Only because he was made to look like an idiot... Trying to save face now.

Not disagreeing, but if someone who doesn't want to watch Manly games impartially wants to claim that B. Stewart can't defend, then what else can someone use to refute the claim?

Oh, I definitely agree that Stewart can defend- and his positioning in defense (which isn't measured in stats) is excellent.

I think some people might be influenced by Stewart's attempts in the last Origin to regather some kicks, some of which were poor. But it was a night in which Slater struggled also, and all the outside backs dropped it or misread the kicks a few times. Stewart's defense wasn't terrible that night, despite what some were saying, and it is usually excellent.

Dugan is a good defender too, and can pull out some good goal line try savers, and despite the article, so is Hoffman (he is safe as houses with most kicks). The bad defenders (like Gardner) really stand out- they get targeted by halves all the time. Not many of the top full backs get targeted- kicks and attack tends to target the much weaker wingers in the teams with good fullbacks.

Disgraceful call. McCrone was away, nobody home. That was a deadest try we were robbed of.

So that's three bullshit tries to the Cowboys and one incorrectly stolen from the Raiders.
