Tipping rabbits in blockbuster. Left hand side strength of rabbits attack against relatively weak right hand side defence will be crucial. I know the big three could win the game alone as with any game. Yet sticking with rabbits by 2.

Channel 9 seriously chose Tigers vs Dragons over this?

Was thinking the same thing. Channel 9 are f**king clueless. Even if they schedule the games 5 weeks in advance its still a dumb choice. Just shows their utter contempt for teams outside of sydney and brisbane.

Already wishing it was tomorrow night (and not just because I'm still at work right now). No Foxtel at home means I'm off to Crown to watch the game, hopefully there'll be a fair few other Storm fans there.

Also, revising my previous prediction; Storm to win 28-14.

If Slater is out then Widdop will got to Fullback and Finch to no 6...cant see Storm winning with this set up.
Widdop? lol, that would be odd.
I heard they had some young brown guy ready to debut if billy was hurt, probably really good too knowing bastard storm.

What's so odd about that? He started off as a fullback playing there in the 2009 under 20's premiership side and also made his debut for England (off the bench) at Fullback as well.

Obviously the only reason he doesn't play FB and was groomed at number 6 at the Storm was because another bloke does a decent job there already.....

Some young brown guy ?...nice stereotype.

It would be Young Tonumaipeau..of Samoan heritage and has a similar build to Folau IMO.

I feel dirty having to admit it, but the Rabbits will be the only undefeated side come next week. The Storm are practically begging for a loss at the moment, considering the refs were the difference for the Tigers beating them at AAMI Park.

Souffs by 6, although this is one of those games where you hope they f**king destroy each other.
umm i guess you missed the second half of that game when the storm tore the tigers apart. aside from that, yes the first half was close mainly due to poor ball possession by the storm.

Honestly, that's shit for us. If we win, there's the excuse that Billy was out. If we lose, its just salt on the wound

BILLY Slater boarded a plane to Sydney with his teammates this afternoon and will play for Melbourne Storm in tomorrow night's blockbuster clash with South Sydney. The Storm fullback had been in a moon boot earlier this week, resting a foot that he reported as being "stiff" after Monday's win over Wests Tigers.

But he trained this morning and is "100 per cent" certain to play in the top of the table clash with the undefeated Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium.

Storm halfback Cooper Cronk also missed training during the week but is another certain starter.http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sp...s-at-the-broncos/story-e6frfgcx-1226618617841

Rumours have circulated before the past two Melbourne games that Cronk was nursing an injury and would be ruled out, but he has played each time.

Storm football operation manager Frank Ponissi said the absence of Cronk and Slater from training was more about management.

"Both those guys have massive workloads and we're just trying to look after them as best as possible," he said.
The pair are certainties to be named in the Australian team to take on New Zealand in Canberra next Friday.

This game is going to be bloody close...it will come down to execution and set completion and Storm are strong at this.

Having said that Burgess Bros, GI and the likes of Luke could cut us up...bring it on !.

Yeah whatever the result it should be a good game, always good watching the best teams play. I'm more interested in how certain structures and individuals hold up tonight. It's these sort of games that let you know where you stand and what needs to be improved.
