You were trying to talk it down by saying they gained no advantage. That is not even remotely relevant to the forward pass rule. The pass was thrown forward, that is the advantage.

Oh and no, you are wrong. Had that ball been thrown backwards the try would most likely not have been scored. Mini was in front of Maloney.
