Look, dont get me wrong DCE carved this year, he should've won the Dally M imo and was the best player of the finals series by a huge margin.

Tonight though? He tried his guts out but didnt get his team across the line. End of story. There were Roosters players who turned that game, won the game.

Congratulations to the Roosters. They topped off a superb season with a fine win in the GF and were too good on the night. I'm really proud of the effort from my guys. After the season and final series they had, to even make the GF was a terrific achievement. It was a gripping game right to to the end, pity we couldn't get the result.

Well, you do realise it's happened twice, in 1991 (Brad Clyde) and 1993 (Brad Mackay). MG would've got it in '91 had he not been sin-binned.
