But whoever is in charge of scouting for this club should be sacked and never allowed to work in rugby league again. Clubs hundreds and thousands of kilometres away are consistently finding great Queensland players while Queenslands biggest and richest team has so many average players.

Their football department needs to be transformed.

100% agreed. Their team last week minus the Origin players was an indictment on their junior system.

It looked like a collection of the worst semi-professional players QLD has to offer rather than the remainder of a 25 man 1st grade squad.

Perhaps other clubs have just caught up and are adept at nabbing the best talent before Brisbane spot them.

Either way changes need to be made up there.
