Waddell plays: Storm by 50
Waddell doesn't: Storm by 12

I can't see us winning it, but we're a significantly better side without him on the field.

Storm by 14:)

wonder if Wayne will give them the silent treatment. Also is Gower expected to play in this match?

Knights about to start feeling the pinch of playing some top 8 sides... the loss to a Dragons team that wont make the 8 last week will really hurt them in the long run. Storm should win and win well, as they do against most sides

I reckon Wayne should be telling the halves to get the ball wide as early and often as possible. The one advantage we can possibly gain over the Storm is out wide. The Raiders did it to great success. We've got some great outside backs who just aren't getting enough pill. Do the unexpected, throw the ball wide on the 3rd tackle inside our own half. We will get annihilated by the Storm if we play the five up the guts and kick routine. Don't turn it into an arm wrestle. There is absolutely nothing to lose in this one. I can't imagine any Knights fan expects us to get the two here. So we should play like we're trying to score points and win.

If the side Bennett named today runs out: Storm by 30+

If the likes of Buderus, Gower, Cuthbertson, Boyd, and Uate play: Knights by 2

I reckon I could just about guarantee the side named yesterday won't be the side that runs out on Sunday.

The Storm will make us look like a park football team. Wheeling out the Springfield retirement village won't achieve anything against a team that is too strong, too fast and has too much facial hair. Storm by 50+

If they play with similar intensity as last week, look out.

....I guess that goes for both teams but I meant the storm.

Take Naiqama, Roberts (even though I'm a big fan), Waddell and Houston out and replace them with Uate, Gower, Buderus and Cuthbertson and we give ourselves a chance.

I've got to watch this Waddell closely next time to see what the (inverse) fanfare is all about.

I gave us a good chance last week & we got blown off the park. Beware the 40/20, it's the start of the Knightmare.

The bloke can tackle, but that's about it. His service out of dummy half is disgracefully slow. By the time the ball actually gets in the hands of the forwards, the defensive line is in their face.

What i don't understand is why hasn't any coaching addressed this? It used to drive me crazy watching him play for the Raiders for that exact reason. Maybe he needs glasses or something.

I thought he was a local junior - no wonder Knights supporters don't like him.

Jesus Christ that's not why we dislike him. We hate him because he's shit and his awful and slow service out of dummyhalf prevents us from getting absolutely anything going in attack. Nobody cares that he's not a local. He'd be just as hated if he were. Hell, some of our most hated players of all time I.e. Clint Newton were locals.

The only way I can see us troubling them at all is if we can somehow manage to get a roll on over them early in the tackle count (without Waddell in the side of course) and then get good early ball to Gagai and Leilua. The backline is the only area we have a bit of an edge over them so we need to use it. If we try and beat them at their own game we'll get destroyed.

I'm predicting Storm 30-12. I think we'll have a big dig but I reckon they will still be on a high after their huge win last week and will stay in that form. They're pretty unstoppable in that form.
