Drinkwater has been dropped to the bench for helensburgh. He's been marked to never play again... Not even close to NSW Cup. Attitude problems apparently, mind you playing for our rabble of a team would give most people attitude problems. Maybe his plan was to get dropped so that Price, and Mary at the next level down don't impart too much of their ineptitude on him before he leaves.

In any case, the bunnies should win 30+.

Id have an attitude problem too if Fein kept getting picked ahead of me. Won't be 30+ mate. Dragons always play well against us. Traditonal rivals. I expect Dugan to carry his outstanding origin form over into this game.

With or without Inglis, Souths have too much power and skill for us this year.

The Souths forwards will just roll over our pack, they are too big for our young forwards. And with Merrin potentially out also, that weakens us further.

Souths halves are too creative and good with the ball in hand compared to ours. Reynolds kicking game is a long way ahead of what we can offer.

Our only hope is if the weather brings some wet conditions and makes the ball a little slippery.

Don't think we'll get absolutely belted, but do expect Souths to do it easily enough without getting out of 1st or 2nd gear.
Bigger games ahead for them to worry about.

Two of our biggest wins this year have been in the rain.

We don't mind the rain at all.

I remember when we'd have to hope for injuries to have any chance against the opposition.

Dark days.

GI is a fast healer. He'll miss 2-3 games max. He'll lead us to a win against Melbourne a month from now.

Meanwhile, his omission makes this game more interesting. Hope Hunt plays FB. IMO he offers more than Merritt who offers more than anyone as a winger.

This is the first game God (i.e., The Dugan) has played with his childhood hero Matt Cooper.

The Dugan and Coops are going to tear souffs a new arsehole.
