Gallen and fifitas 100 tackles and 100 hit ups look great on paper but they don't let Carney and Robson get enough of the ball and set up some plays.
Leave it to Carney and Robson in the opposition 20 and let them put you through the holes.
People (many Sharks fans included) keep saying this, but Gallen and Fifita gave Carney and Robson plenty of territory. Gallen and Fifita also made 14 offloads between them, nearly twice as many as every other player from both teams. They gave our halves a bucket load of chances. If Carney or Robson want the ball more or at a crucial stage, they are the halves, its up to them to call it.
Not only were they poor in kicking and last play options, which happens every few weeks, but the kick chase was terrible. Our kicks were Newcastle's best attacking weapon coming out of their half.
We were only in the game due to the huge metres of a few of our players, the Knights as a team, were much better. If Mullen plays like that and they defend well, they can trouble any one.
Sharks have been much poorer this year against good sides than last year, and the lack of quality backs is really being exposed by good coaches. Even so, if we don't drop the ball so often we can win games just on our forward power.
