Slip, sliding away......

62 points in 2 games. Whatever happened to the rock like defence of the Roosters???

Roosters are scum.
Unsportsmanlike play by throwing Kevin Gordon's boot into the crowd after it came off.
Anyone else hear rabs say his boot ended up in the bleachers?

He played on without a boot for 2 sets until someone fetched it.

Honestly makes no difference to the Roosters. Their F/A is that far ahead of souffs that next week is still a shootout for the MP.

It should have though, it was the last home game of the season and after the shit they produced last week, it should have meant something.

Winners don't play three consecutive weeks in second gear. They're not playing like a side that's about to play finals footy, they're playing like a team that has no chance of making the eight.

James Maloney did it to Blake Ferguson the other day too. It's not quite scrotum grabbing (lol) but it's not in the spirit of the game.

Didn't end up mattering in the end, but did anyone actually see the ball touch the line in Pearce's try?
It was inconclusive for mine.

Seen it happen many times that teams drop off in the last week or two of the season when it won't affect their finishing position. Generally they fire up again come finals time. The 06 donkeys even took the first week of the finals off before firing up to win the comp.

Just kill me now. We will be doing nothing more than making up the numbers if things don't improve dramatically

Disappointing effort today. I reckon we'll see a different performance next week against souffs when they have something to play for. Anything that happens now means sfa. And i'd much rather us go through this flat period now than in two weeks time.

We'll be ready to go come first week of the finals.

That no call on Leuluai leading with the foot becomes massive now.
I don't think the Titans can knock Melbourne off down there, but those 1 or 2 extra points would have given them more hope with other results. (Assuming they won or hung on for a draw of course)

This is another game where the myths in the halves did nothing. Won't win a comp with Pearce at 7, and Maloney as good as he is can't do everything! Pearce produced an Origin like performance for himself today lol
