Knights no chance with Gidley at 7. Tyrone Roberts in, Gids on bench. Still shudder with A Quinn in the centres. Battle of the angry ants with him and Tate.

Battle? That's adorable. Its a little known fact that Tate invented the term "angry ant". Someone once argued that it was an old saying but Tate got so angry about it the man promptly apologised.

Gagai and Mason are massive losses for the Knights. It'll be close as its a Knights home game but can't see them winning it. Cowboys 1-12

IIRC the Knights actually have a fairly decent record at home on a Monday Night. Contrary to popular opinion we're a big chance in this. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if we won.

The big question - which Knights team will turn up?

Yeah that's the thing for me, we have an awful record away from home, an awful record on monday nights, the Knights have the inverse.

I'm not superstitious but still something to consider.

Oh honestly Cowboys always bloody lose the games they're supposed to win, Knights line up is fairly weak but I'm never confident of playing a team the week after a belting.
Particularly a Wayne Bennett coached team.

That said the team would be very disappointed with the Storm game so hopefully they're just as determined.

Rumours floating around Newcastle that Gidley will play hooker, Roberts will start at halfback and Buderus will come off the bench.

Interesting.

1. Boyd
6. Mullo
7. Roberts
9. Gids

14. Bedsy

Is easily our best spine imo. Gids is killing us at halfback.

The Cowboys should still win, but I'm actually really looking toward to the game now with all the lineup change rumours we're hearing.

So the side we're looking at:

1. Darius Boyd
2. James McManus
3. Anthony Quinn
17. Alex McKinnon / 4. Timana Tahu
5. Akuila Uate
6. Jarrod Mullen
14. Tyrone Roberts
8. Kade Snowden
7. Kurt Gidley
10. David Fa'alogo
11. Beau Scottt
12. Chris Houston
13. Jeremy Smith

15. Neville Costigan
16. Robbie Rochow
18. Danny Buderus
19. Korbin Sims
20. Willie Mason

Ring those changes Wayne

Even with Danny back and us at home, we're missing too many of our 'big guns' to compete with the Cowboys in the form they're in.

I can see a score reminiscent of last week's :-(

I know the Storm are good, but I didn't realise people rated them so highly that losing by 20+ points to them was considered good "form"
