You are not allowed to deliberately propel the ball forward, which is clearly what Johnson did. Baffling decision. Thought the contact on the kicker was fine. James was clearly going for the charge down, and the contact was incidental.

Haha how can anyone say it should be a rule?? That was just like Haynes a couple of years ago when he tapped it over the defence and rightly so got penalised.

Well its finally happened. 18 years for us to FINALLY get a dodgy call in our favour.

The world just got turned on its head.

Warriors right side has been really good today. Mannering and Henry both playing very strongly

Bird needs to grow the f**k up.

He is a senior guy in the side now not a kid who lies about being arrested by the QLD Cops in the Brisbane Mall.

He is more interested in picking a fight than playing.

This game just goes to show how much mediocrity there is outside the top 4. 6th getting belted by 16th.

TBH it was only SECONDS after a very dodgy call by the refs where James was molesting the dummy half, and the ref ruled play on.

Warriors unlucky this year however, they should have beaten the Roosters and Storm, but some very iffy calls went against them and they dropped there bundle.

If you allow a player to propel the ball forward deliberately, why not allow forward passes? It's a core part of our game that you can only promote the ball backwards by hand.
