id start with widdop @ 6 (give him 80mins) ,sinfield @ 13 and o'loughlin on the bench, introduce him in spells cos theres no need to rush him back...bench roby, move sinfield to 9 to make way for o'louglin in at
13...

simple

Chase to 7?

This will be a training run for En-ga-lund. I really cant see the Irish getting close here

Why Sinfield at 13? Dropping Chase is the best move England can do.

This is a turn up for you. It wasn't long ago that you didn't even want Widdop in the side. I'm pleased you can see sense.

Anyway. England by plenty. The poor Irish, they really are on a hiding to nothing in this group.

cos i don't think sinfield & widdop in the halves will work...

Why? It's quite clear Chase's style doesn't really fit into England's structure. Widdop is a great structured player.

I don't see why Sinfield should play 9 or 13 when there are several better options for both positions.

I'm with you. Piss Chase off. England have enough speed and explosiveness in the backline and at 9. They don't need a half like Chase.

ive never said i don't want widdop in the team!

ive said many a time hes our future no 6...but mcnamara won't move sinfield until he retires (after the world cup)...

i wanted him to get a full game at 6 against samoa too..

so i dunno where u got i don't want him in the side

Quote: Salford stand-off Marc Sneyd would have been the obvious choice for the number six jersey but he was ruled ineligible after failing to complete the paperwork in time, leaving Aston with a 23-man squad to work with.

WTF????? How is this crap happening and how is it only sneaking into the media after their first game??

I haven't seen anything to suggest the 6 and 7 play different roles in the England team. In fact Sinfield is wearing 7 at the moment for some reason.

Sinfield plays on the right. Chase and Widdop both play on the left. Widdop should be starting 6 before Chase in my opinion.

Ireland will be without their best player (Scott Grix) which is a huge blow for them. With a sell-out English crowd, this is a chance for the English to show that they can challenge in this tournament.

Are there any particular pubs rugby league fans go after a game in Huddersfield? One that hopefully will have the Australia game playing?
