Even if it ends up 50-nil, this looks, feels and is as important as the Test matches other sports play, and when have we ever been able to say that about a rugby league match between England and Ireland? The international game has taken massive steps forward in the last week. And it's actually been looking like a bloody good match since that try!

Every team seems to be able to make one of jerseys, (just noticed the writing between logos) but yet Australia came out with amart all sport replicas for their promo shoot...

Also back to the game, Ireland look like a bunch of open 4's ATM, hope they pull the finger out.

Agree about the look and feel of the match but jeez Ireland are in a bit of strife.

The score won't matter. They've sold out a stadium for a game that, in past time, would've pulled 5,000 if they handed out tickets with Big Macs. This match is a big deal.

And I think the damage done by the match to Irish RL will pale compared to the good a big win will to for English RL. Seeing their players as heroes for a change will be great for the Poms.
