ive never said i don't want widdop in the team!

ive said many a time hes our future no 6...but mcnamara won't move sinfield until he retires (after the world cup)...

i wanted him to get a full game at 6 against samoa too..

so i dunno where u got i don't want him in the side

You said it a couple of times, he needs to be patient and "his time will come" if I recall correctly.

Poor old Ireland have gone backwards since the last RLWC. I'm hoping they can play out of their skins the next 2 games and not get burned by 50+ each time.

i also said its pointless constantly calling for him to be selected ahead of kev sinfield....theres a time and a place for gareth at the moment to grab the spotlight..those timea being against the likes of ireland or samoa a couple of weeks ago...

Consistently or just here and there?

I've always known him as a 13 who fills in at 6 when needed but haven't known him to play 7

yep mainly 6....or 9....but he's not played 13 for years....

people need to get over the fact he's wearing 7...he's not a scrum half....he's a 6.5 lol

But nobody is. They're calling for him to be picked ahead of Chase.

Quote: Salford stand-off Marc Sneyd would have been the obvious choice for the number six jersey but he was ruled ineligible after failing to complete the paperwork in time, leaving Aston with a 23-man squad to work with.

WTF????? How is this crap happening and how is it only sneaking into the media after their first game??
Is there any link that shows how each player is eligible for the nation they are representing?
Ie birth, parent, grandparent, residency

Maybe I need to watch him closer but from what I've seen of him there's not much playmaking just shuffling of the ball and the odd run.

How come England aren't playing an actual 7 at 7? Or is there no one good enough or is sinfield although not a 7, better?

I remember Rodger chase was the bees knees a couple of years back but now people are calling for his head..........I would def play widdop at 6.

What is your opinion of Mcnamara?

my opinion of McNamara???

hes not qualfied to coach a park side let alone a national team...

ive said a few times he'll make a excellent "director of rugby" at a club or national level cos his vision, his planning ( setting up the ETS training camps, england knights) are first class.....can't fault that imo

but his actual coaching of a matchday 17 is woeful....the fact we got to the last 4nations final is widely put down to his assistant, daryl powell...not McNamara

Looks like a dream out there at the moment. A packed stadium for England vs Ireland, on a beautiful day. A very proud day for all rugby league fans :)
