Teams like Tonga, PNG etc. need to get a coach from outside of their heritage.

Being from that country doesn't make you a worthy coach.

All Tonga really needed to do was do a Souths. Just bag it up the middle, & get a decent kick away at the end. Halves were the difference.

The lolFish. How can a person with so much talent be so...... untalented.

The difference in class between Brough/Foster, Wallace/Langi, Henderson/Seluini and surprisingly, Russell/Fish was massive. Fish was worst on ground.

Loving this World Cup and another good game. This WC so far is outstanding and crowds that really get into the games, it puts Sydney internationals to shame.

Wow very happy for the Scots after most people wrote them off. Does this pretty much eliminate Tonga from the tournament?

where is Rab's and all the other doubters? these matches have been top shelf and as far as entertainment/quality go they would beat a lot of NRL games.

also loving the Scotland jersey with the faded logo on the back. might have to add to the collection.

Yeah, pretty much. Only the top team from Group C gets through. There would be a slight mathematical chance I'm guessing (if everyone lost 1 game), but they are basically gone now.

Just a pretty typical fullback performance from Fish, if theres not a try on offer he's not interested...no heart.

If Tonga beat the Cookies and Italy by a decent margin, and Italy edge Scotland (assuming Scotland beat the USA) then Tonga can still get through on points difference.

Still quite a likely scenario imo, Tonga paid for not having a warm up.

Yeah every chance for Tonga still. At the moment you'd have to say all 3 Group C teams are evenly ranked. Italy can beat Scotland and Tonga can beat Italy. Or one could lose to a Group D team although that seems unlikely.

Scotland have a better pairing than England in the halves, Brough playing for England would of made the team so much better.

Yeah still a possibility, just adds to the suspense of this already kickass tournament

Scottish fullback Matt Russell was very impressive. He's been signed by Warrington for next year right? Great pick-up by them

Great effort by Scotland. The way Tonga dominated the 2nd half they should have won, and if their kicker had done done practice they probably would have but the effort by Scotland to hold on was great
