We've looked very good with McCrone going to hooker. Without him, McIlwrick had to play the whole game and I'm not sure he's quite up to that yet.

At this point I'd almost just go 1 rr 6 campo 7 milford 9 mccrone. MM is pretty poor and buttriss is up and down like a bipolar yoyo

agreed
hopefully with more experience for the kids like Wighton, Lee, Paps, etc this will improve

Yep, the talent's certainly there, just need that experience to get a mental toughness. A mentally strong Canberra side is a scary prospect.

Yeah, the positive about today was that Milford got more time on the field and is really looking like a gun. I am really looking forward to seeing what he can do in the future.

Despite the failures getting the rub of the green on every call, I'm stunned, every halfwit raiders fan I've spoken to in the last week has left me convinced the failures will not lose another game all season, decade even

I mean, they beat an exhausted Melbourne who didn't care for the game, and a geniused pack of nuffies from Newcastle, surely that makes them unstoppable and obvious premiership favourites.? Right?

They need 6-2 and 6-1 penalty counts to defeat Roosters and Warriors as well

It was always going to be tough after losing McCrone early because McIlwrick just isn't up to it. I don't want to dwell on the video ref call for the first try but that really put us on the back-foot.

But at the end of the day, the Sharks were the better team and deserved the win. Well done.

We lost by a try and fergos kicking. Its like all the various butt hurt supporters had been praying for a sharks thrashing and are now pretending its what happened. Sharks are a good side fifita is an absolute monster and they played a great aggressive defence.

I'm sure Raiders fans will see through the good natured ribbing from some other team's fans and be pretty pleased with most of their team's efforts today. It was a great game, and both sides are showing a fair bit of depth given the players that didn't start, and the injuries during the match.

Milford and Wighton just look amazing, with some experience they could be exceptional. The whole Raiders side were great, given that they stormed back when down by a lot vs a very aggressive defensive line.

I'm delighted by the Sharkies, great win boys! They were tough for most of the game, and actually can attack when Carney is there. We really missed him when he was out, but with him we look a very good side, maybe even a top 8 side if ASADA stuff doesn't wreck us.

Both sides need to stiffen up defense and execute better (both teams bombed some tries, which would hurt vs a tough defensive side like the Roosters, Manly or Storm) vs the top 4, but from a pretty big chasing pack, Sharks and Raiders on current form look as good as any of the teams from 5 to 12.

Funny thing is the majority are Knights and Storm supporters, the butthurt is strong in this thread.

That's "reigning premiers storm" fans to you.....

And how's that ladder looking weepe? Even after the blatant attempt to get your merry band of no hopers over the line, they still still sucked a large one, hard

Knights Beat Faiders 1st game Sharks beat a Knights team without Scott Smith Buderus and we lost Mullen for the last 15 mins and get beaten in golden point. Faiders beat us without Scott Smith Buderusand Mullen. Faiders fans go off all over the place laughing that we didn't beat Cronulla and they never had Gallen, Faiders can't beat Cronulla without Gallen and Lewis. I usually never talk up my team especially after a victory but the lol's are just too big to not lol @ the faiders fans (not all just the fools that go off on here)
