If so, here goes:

I don't really consider myself a statistician, but we do do risk calculations and other stuff.

Traditional actuaries work in life insurance, general insurance (home, car), health insurance, superannuation or investments.

is that like off that movie, along came polly... and the guy has to calculate how much this other guy who does lots of stunts liek base jumping ect will cost to have life insurance...
that prob doesnt make any sense but if it does, is that kinda what you do?
