Chris Sandow would have done better than Cooper Plod and im not even joking,at least Chrissy boy would have ran the ball and tried a chip n chase inside his own 10,Cooper Plod has the pace and spark of a mule.

Not sure if it's been said as I can not be f**ked to read the thread but why was Hunt not bought on around the 60th minute or so when they game was not entirely out of reach. Cooper and Dce were offering nothing. Sheens is an absolute f**king potato
As a kiwi I was glad to see Hunt not used properly or at the right time.

I think there are a few big names that did squat in the aussie team this series who should be worried. Thaiday, Farrah, and Bird should be dropped, Cronk should be worried and Walker shouldn't be allowed anywhere near an ausiie jumper in a sports shop let alone on the field.

I believe I can identify the problems.

First, not enough halfbacks. There were up to four more slots that could have been filled with halfbacks.

Secondly, too many prop-forwards. We needed more back-rowers.

Finally, Ben Hunt was given far too much game time. Farrah should have been playing instead.

Or, better yet, we could have had another back-rower.
Tim pls

Incorrect.

This is what goes on in his head.

Too much talk on Ben Hunt reminds me of all the hype around DCE.
His tries were all set up for him. Credit to him for being there and he is a top player but to even suggest he is better than DCE or Cronk is stupid.

Some of the players in that Roos squad like Walker, Jackson and Cordner are not test players and I hope to never see them in a test jumper again especially Walker. FMD and I use to rate him too.

Agreed. I would also like to not see Cordoner near a Roo's jumper for awhile. Jackson shouldn't be playing test footy yet either.

I think it is more that he was not bought on earlier to at least give the Kangaroos a chance when DCE and Cronk were not getting it done, no one is suggesting he is better than DCE or Cronk just yet

LMAO momentum swings each time he takes the field, but lets forget about that. He was the best half for Australia th
rough the four nations. His 10 minutes is more productive then the whole game from Cronk.

People are going to overlook this because he plays for Brisbane

Lol he hardly played in the halves all tournament! Cronk created the last try from Australia which Hunt was there to finish and also the lead up to the end of the game with a chip for DCE.

His 10 minutes is productive but not as a half because who knows what position he's playing!

NZ by far the better team. Shouldn't have let Australia get so close. They still lack that bit of polish to put teams away.

The last pass was definitely forward and Siones try shouldn't have been allowed, that made it closer then it should have been.

Plenty of dissapointments for Aus. Whilst they were probably the best available the young backs were all shown up. Mansour tried hard but showed that he is a very limited player. Walker was horrendous all tournament, and I'm a huge fan of his. Sione was poor but was playing out of position well above his current level.

For mine cronk has never played well outside of the storm system. He isn't a create player and plays to a set system every play. He doesn't play what he sees, simply what he's been told to do.

The pack were all average minus probably klemmer. Pappali in the team fullstop let alone front row? What the actual f**k? Thaiday is nowhere near Rep level anymore. Bird was poor in origin this year and continued his form in the tests. Jackson picked over guerra?? Lack of props...

Glad everyone else has experienced what a sheens coached side is like.

Can't say I disagree with any of that.

Looking towards next year's origin there are a few players form both sides who should be very very close to calling it quits.

A very enjoyable game of football.
I do think most of the Aussies tried hard but it was beyond them.
I am not going to criticise the forwards too much, some were played out of position.

For me the biggest myth of the tournament was Ingli$, he did bugger all. Granted he was not well in the first game but since that he has been 100%. He is turning into another Nathan Blacklock. When the team is firing he does well then when the going gets tough he goes missing.
Its obvious despite his athletic ability he is not a fullback's missing sock, he has absolutely no organisational skills

This has been the case for most of his career.
