i'm not saying he should be dropped just he was shit tonight. i like dugan as a player, lot of potential but last years form could have been him playing for a contract & point to prove after the shit with canberra.

i hope i'm wrong & he has a great season, hopefully he doesn't go back to having one great game every few weeks.

imo every player should be on performance contracts! you don't play well you don't get the big $$$! i guarantee players like GI, hayne, boyd, damn all the big name players will be playing out of their skin for the $$$.

It was like watching a python strangle the life out something. You could see souffs were slowly winning the ruck, but then the refs decided to make it happen quicker. I thought our guys really had a go tonight and don't deserve to be 20 point losers.

Souffs played well tonight and congrats to them for the win.

Credit to Souths they were better today. Still can't see them winning a comp with that backline. The plays all seem to stop when Reynolds gets the ball, he has a decent kicking game but nothing more. With that penalty count the good teams would have lapped the Dragons. The reffing was horrible, definitely not first grade standard. Souths discipline is well down, think they only had a 60% completion. Souths don't seem to have come up with a new gameplan over the past few years.

I agree we were lying on the ruck, but we did it in such a polished way compared to your team it's no surprise penalties didn't follow. Dragons were sloppy holding the ruck, hands all over the ball were the big issue. In the end the wrestle is as much about how smooth you make it look.

Dragons real problem was hands on the ball though, The last three weeks teams have gotten away with murder with hands on the ball in the ruck against us, it's good to see a ref not letting teams continue to get away with it.

I disagree that Reynolds has a good kicking game. He hasn't gotten a ball in goal all year. At this rate he won't be in the team by the end of the year

I thought both of our hookers looked really sharp today. Api plays halfback too, I wouldn't mind seeing him get a go there
