I know he scored , from 5 metres out, but Trex just walks around the field, an amazing display for someone his size....what do you do with him?

From the referees guidelines :

OBSTRUCTION a) It is the responsibility of the decoy runner/s not to interfere with the defending team. b) The ball runner cannot run behind his own team and gain an advantage. c) A sweep player may receive the ball on the inside of a block runner as long as there is depth on the pass to him. It there is no depth he needs to receive the ball on the outside of the block runner. d) Defensive decisions that commit defenders to decoy runners will not be considered obstruction. e) Attacking players who loiter next to the play the ball can be interpreted as obstructing the defending team. f) In the process of scoring a try an attacking player dives through or into the legs of the player who has played the ball a penalty will be awarded to the defending team. This action will be interpreted as obstruction. g) If in the opinion of the referee/video referee the play had no effect on the scoring of the try the try will be awarded

We won the game and I'm still angrier than I was 2 hours ago.

I'll take it though.

There was no advantage gained IMO. Not sure the Bulldogs even noticed he ran through. No arms were up in the air or anything.

Correct, "and gain an advantage" there was no advantage if he did or not, play on! 18-12!

Griffin smiling after that performance.

That's like smiling after dropping your sandwich in the dirt just because you beat the five second rule.

i've never known a game of RL where it was ok to run behind your own player. Regardless of who was impeded or not impeded that has ALWAYS been an instant penalty. Terrible decision

I think you need to go and READ the offside rule.
Then you need to READ the obstruction rule.
Then you need to sit down and COMPREHEND what the rules SAY.

Then you need to put phil gould on MUTE and IGNORE him because he does NOT know the RULES.

The decision was correct.

This confirmed the video ref made the right call.

A so-so game though we will take any win we can get right now.
