Warriors by 12..
Everyone is forgetting that all it takes to bring the Eels to their knees is for Hayne to go down which he has proven in recent times he is very capable of doing.
I think the Eels might win.
If not, then it will probably be the Warriors.
I'd put money down the it could go either way
Our 17 shits on their 17 on paper...
What are you on about? Nobody's heard of half of your players. Strengths are a couple of big props, Johnson, Vatuvei and Mateo. Weaknesses are Johnson, Vatuvei and Mateo. Tomkins is still an unknown at this level. I'm tipping he'll carve up out near the centres, but fullback play in the NRL is about more than just lurking a couple of passes wide.
.
what? never heard of Matulino, Konrad Hurrell, Chan Townsend, Jason Bakuya, Nathan Friend, the Kiwi Captain Simon Mannerring or the SOE rep Jacob Lillyman? add in Johnson, Vatuvei, Mateo & Tomkin.... thats practically the WHOLE team.
Eels have Hopoate, Hayne and thats about it from what i can tell.
and going off past history, the Eels will probably win?!
That's half the team, and the half anyone has heard of. Half of those are plodders. Hurrell's not even named.
Don't forget Tonga, Norman, Mannah and Lussick. You mightn't rate them but that's how most people feel about Warriors players.
That's because in the past we were at full strength when we played the Warriors in round one, as is the case this weekend, more or less. The only top 17 certainty missing is Jacob Loko.
