I expect a loss here. Our record at Brookvale is deplorable and we had our once a decade victory there last year

Manly by 10

Our bogey team at the best of times, and against them at Brookvale, even worse. I think it will be a tight game like most of them have been in the last couple of seasons. Manly by 6.

:lol: with your man Hayne in charge of this the penalty count will be nice and even. Uncle Nick's brown paper bags know no limits.

There's EFT now man, front companies, offshore accounts, the whole shebang. Quoting the great Trewhella "paper bags are so ninties".

And besides, Hayne is a self confessed lol @ souffs fan so it'll be interesting to see who he hates the least.

Chook.

We've been playing like busted but have only been shown up once over the last few months. Not looking forward to this, I thank the sky man I'll be stuck in remotest Lampung rather than watching this...

We didn't beat Manly 4/4 last year by accident.

We did so because, across the park, we're a better team.

But there's not a lot in it as Manly ooze world class talent in key positions so there's no margin for error. We must be at or just below our best to win.

I still think Easts aren't quite the side they were last year, and like us they haven't had many hard games in quite some while. Manly on the other hand are battle-hardened, and at home should prevail.

Yes because we pay the refs to ensure an even penalty count, not to win the penalty count.

Makes sense.

Rocky is doing his bit. lol

ROCKY the Rooster took a tour of Manly this morning and judging by the general reaction, you’d be forgiven for thinking he was in Bondi Junction.

Children swarmed to the Sydney Roosters’ mascot as he walked along the Manly Corso and paraded up and down North Steyne in a brazen bid to assert the Roosters dominance over their opponents in last year’s grand final.

Chook.

Except we lose the vast majority of penalty counts despite "paying the refs"

Understand?

 You don't think old mate Hayne has given you lot a few leg ups??

"Paying the refs" was friendly jibing by the way, don't get your frilly panties in a twist sweetie.
