GI is getting more & more like boyd, both lift for qld but are some lazy merkins for their club. GI has been like that for a while, now & again he will have a great game but mostly doesn't get involved nowhere near enough.

maguire needs to learn from arthur & see how much hayne is involved for parra. GI should be beating teams on his own, the majority of their plays should involve GI. yet a lot of times he doesn't even touch the ball in a set.

& reynolds needs to go to halfback school, he has no ball playing ability at all. if it wasn't for his kicking he would be lucky to play reserve grade.

souths fans will be waiting a long time to win the comp with this shit.

I agree with a lot of that but I think Souths suffer from the fact that when they get behind they just throw the ball to GI, guys like Luke,Reynolds and Sutton expect GI to win games for me instead of attempting to win them themselves. Th really need Sutton or Reynolds to step up and become dominant consistent playmakers that can create some space for GI rather then expecting him to do it all himself.

He isn't a ball playing fullback. His passing game isn't up to scratch for it, nor is his ability to put in any kicks. Not saying he's incapable of either of them though. He has size, strength and speed on his side but they're not utilized.

Hayne's involvement at Parra simply can't be replicated with GI and Souths.
