Dogs (who are on 30 btw) dropping their remaining 2 games is probably the best chance for Broncos/Dragons (need to up F/A)/Warriors.

Although Melbourne do have a fairly rough run.

I've got the dogs 8th and the eels 9th after next week. I'd loving nothing more than Brisbane stealing 8th spot from them. Can't see it though. Dogs and Warriors should make it.

cows deserved the win, they started great & blew souths away. if their forwards can keep playing like tonight & keep the errors down they can beat anyone. JT deserves a premiership, hopefully his team mates can keep stepping up to his level.

You do realise he has one already?

there's no way souths lose to the can't score for shit dogs! especially without j reynolds & maybe kasiano.

they only beat a reserve grade tigers by 20, when other teams have put 60 on them.

btw when is george burgess back?

If I know the Dogs, they'll be up for this for more reasons than one.

It'll be a battle royale.

Matt Scott and the Cowboys pack deserve full credit for taking it to the Bunnies forwards early. They absolutely dominated and off the back of that Thurston did what he does better than anyone else in the comp.

100% correct. Souths have come up against a big pack tonight and didn't aim up. Cowboys defence was outstanding. Won them the game.

Madge does not have a basic appreciation of peaking at the right time. It's well established by now. Time for souths to look elsewhere if they want to become serious contenders

You bell-end. Round 24 is not "peaking at the right time". The following teams which have won the Premiership over the last 25 years have dropped a game (or two) in the last 3 rounds:

Penrith 1991
Brisbane 1993
Canterbury 1995
Manly 1996
Melbourne 1999
Brisbane 2000
Newcastle 2001
Canterbury 2004
Wests Tigers 2005 (2 games)
*Melbourne 2009
St. George-Illawarra 2010
Manly 2011
Roosters 2013 (2 games)

I hate Souths, let me say that again.. I HATE Souths.

but.. how the f**k does the general view of a team seen as "unstoppable" in previous weeks change so dramatically based on 1 result?

Same thing was done after Souffs beat Manly a couple of weeks back.

Everyone had us holding up the trophy then BAM we were gone and Souffs were the real deal.

It wil be another team next week.

The rorters lost 2 of their last 3 in the regular season last year.

Lol. I don't see any mention of Souffs amongst all of that.

You wouldn't have seen any mention of St. George/St. George-Illawarra/Illawarra if I'd written the same thing in round 24, 2010 either. Your point?

maybe because for an unstoppable team they sure didn't win
