what more do you want him to do? he is surrounded by mediocrity
I'm assuming you're not referring to the pack most clubs would kill to have on the books. The backs are possibly a little short on class. Wouldn't label Tate and Linnett as mediocre.

The question on him is inconsistency in getting the job done at club level. He's got Dingo Tahbro, Scott, Tate, Linnett, Taumalolo, Winterstein and Tariq Sims.... They should regularly destroy teams. He's a great rep player but for me Joey is many classes above at club level. He regularly owned teams.
Joey had some guns in his club teams though, certainly talent above Linnet, Winterstien. Sims and Taumalolo could be good but are not anywhere near that yet.
I take your point however.

That's pretty much my opinion on this issue right there. The question on him is inconsistency in getting the job done at club level. The Knights would crush teams every second week on the back of Joey's genius. People seem to have forgotten this.
Where as JT is flat out leading his team to enough wins to make the finals every year.
JT is a great player but not in the same ballpark as the best I've ever seen.
