As much as Gus & co will bang on about this game and talk it up about being a battle etc. it has been utterly shite and this style of play does nothing to bring audiences to the NRL

This game was foxed. Fair try scored and disallowed after a single look. 11-2 penalty count and most penalties the same shir sea eagles got away with. Hate both teams. But this game was an absolute farce.

Manly haven't done anything to get penalised for, besides perhaps blocking kick chasers. Penalty count is deserved.

Considering they are the second most ill disciplined side behind the Roosters quite an amazing feat.

Defences too dominant, needed Stewart's and SBW's attacking class to break it open. Manly easily the better team though. Wolfman is junk.

Eh, felt a lot of the calls were deserved but Manly got the green all night long with the 50/50 calls. The No Try was right, but the rule is such a mess and there is zero consistency about it which is disappointing. Probably the two big things to take away from this is that DCE and Foran are incredible and so too is the Roosters defence but I can't see either of these teams being as tough as they were last year. Certainly the conditions would have had an impact but still. The quality just wasn't there.
