You played well enough to beat a team that isn't making the 8 and is 6 games in to a major rebuild, the same team that fairly well handled your side only a month ago. If that's worth getting excited for, i'd suggest your expectations are being set WAY too low.

And we didn't bomb any tries? I hardly believe that ladder position and F/A dictate the strength of a teams roster, look at the Roosters down the bottom and the Titans at the top.

You guys have a dud halves and hooker rotation and seem to persist too long with "potential superstars" that fail to deliver (Croker etc) whilst letting the real stars find excuses to leave the club time and time again.

The real worry for the Raiders is the fact that their only attacking spark comes from yet another star who is leaving at years end.

As i said, perhaps the knights fans should consider how low they set the bar. You have a decent team and the greatest coach of all time. Perhaps you should be demanding more of your club than going 1-1 with teams in the current state of the Raiders?

Dane's not the sharpest tool in the shed. You can forgive him for letting Croker in for the first try but after that he still couldn't lay a hand on him. Croker steps the same way every time he touches the ball yet Dane had no clue. It's almost as if he'd never seen the guy play before. He definitely gave him a bath and made him look .... well... made him look like old man McDougall did to a young centre a few years back.

Knights have had a better season despite their off field woes. They have had a horrible start with injuries prior to season kick off then the McKinnon incident. Now their main playmaker is back in comparison raiders have had a blissful off season

Campese didn't play a single game in the pre season but tbh i don't know if that would have made a difference.

And Croker is hardly the Raiders problems lol. He is a fine young player. He has probably been the Raiders best player this year. Him or Fensom.

I don't think anyone is upset that you guys controlled the Raiders. Have a look at the Raiders there is a bit too much "lumbering" about them. The week before Soward did the same thing and he is hardly superstar halfback of the century. Mullen put on a clinic against a lumbering side with the boot.

But the Raiders as of 2014 are a bad side. I mean the wingers couldn't even be arsed to try and work us out of trouble everytime Mullen put us in our own 5m to start. I thought the Knights were honestly pretty good. Mullen looked fantastic all things considered and he should challenge for a spot in origin but the Raiders do flatout suck as things stand and Mullen is exactly the type of playmaker who can exploit the areas that we suck in.
