I don't have it in me to feel slightest bit of sorrow for the Storm, but I can intellectually assent that they were dudded.
Suck it up you cheating crippling Storm maggots. As usual the officials bent over backwards to help you and yet you still couldn't win!
Seriously - the storm have a right to take this as an official complaint to headquarters, and someone needs to lose their job, not just for 1 f**king week, it needs to be for 10 matches at least or some punishment that is severe. Absolutely atroshsis.
When is that dumbass Stuart going to punt fat old man campo and put cornish at 7?
I love how the most inept official in rugby league, the touch judge, who only just edges out the video refs themselves mind you, is suddenly a beacon of accuracy and correctness when it suits your agenda.
The current system of relying on the referees live call is so dumb. Isn't the point of going to the video ref to rule on situations where the on-field officials have nfi?
Absolute ripper of a game.
And if reffing was so easy more ex-players would be doing it. Give them a f**king break.
just got back from the game and i can't believe the lack of comments on the refs not doing anything about the storm. Their players where hanging all over tackles, constantly offside, knocking over players during kicks and smith wouldn't shut the hell up. I think the abc were joking after the game but they said cam smith argued with the ref 12 times during the match.
Melbourne are a damn fine team and some of the try's they put on today were beautiful but cut out the rubbish above and just play football.
The touchie could basically sniff under the arm pits of Waqa and he says no try. We all complain about touchies and how they do nothing, how referee's dont back themselves and then when VR's over rule decisions without proof
for once, a touchoe who had the best seat in the house made a call, and the VR didnt over turn it without evidence and we're expected to act as if we've been gifted something from the gods?
f**k that noise, i say.
Nothing on video proved the touchie wrong, it was totally inconclusive. Have to back the touchie's decision in that circumstance. This is precisely why the rule was brought in. Without conclusive evidence you go with the call on the field.
