Ok, now I've had a look at the Waqa no-try, and I can't figure it at all. How is it physically possible to move in the way Waqa did and go touch in-goal without being on or over the line at some point? Fair enogh if the ref and touchie thought he was short and went into touch, as there was no vision to the contrary. But the 20m restart indicates otherwise.

No f**king idea how it was disallowed. Not a single thing happened in the replay to suggest it was a no try and why the video referee didn't overturn it I'll never know. It's a shame a second game has been decided purely on the final call this weekend and honestly, I've lost track how many thus far this year.

I love how the most inept official in rugby league, the touch judge, who only just edges out the video refs themselves mind you, is suddenly a beacon of accuracy and correctness when it suits your agenda.

The current system of relying on the referees live call is so dumb. Isn't the point of going to the video ref to rule on situations where the on-field officials have nfi? :lol:
