just got back from the game and I can't believe the lack of comments on the refs not doing anything about the Storm. their players where hanging all over tackles, constantly offside, knocking over players during kicks and smith wouldn't shut the hell up. I think the ABC were joking after the game but they said Cam Smith argued with the ref 12 times during the match.

What happened to the rule about only the captain being able to approach the ref? Cronk and Slater were in the refs ear all game too.

Has the dominant tackle rule been removed from the game?

Funny also that one of the refs today f**ked up the tackle count twice, having to be reminded by the pocket ref that 20m taps are now 0 tackle.

How is that conclusive that the ball is either on the line, over the line or before the line
That front on shot shows us absolutely nothing. If anything, that still looks short to me

you know who has a f**king great view of it?
The touchie who ruled no try. You know that guy dressed in pink, bend over, 5 metres away with a perfect view of the line and the ball? You would not get a better view of it than the one the touchie has.
I dont know if it's the right or wrong call, because i didnt get a view of it to say either way, but the guy who did say no try.

If you're not going to go with the guy in that scenario, take the touchies out of it and just let the video ref rule on everything

FWIW - had the touchie ruled try there is absolute no chance it gets over turned, because again, there is no evidence to say one way or the other. And there is no way id complain about it. Because what could i point to say the decision is wrong?

another game f**ked by unforgivable decisions! this shit is way out of hand, almost every f**kin game. who were the lollipoping vid refs this time? probably steve clarke, one of the worst refs ever.

sisa waqa is one of the most overrated merkins! i'm sick of commentators talking him up, i love watching the fijians but he is one f**k up. he does some good things at times which you expect playing with this storm side but he does just as much bad. he was one of the main reasons the storm lost this.

& oneil, fmd this merkin is not even a reserve grader! he used to be half decent but since coming back last year he has been utter dog shit. has nothing in attack or defence, his opposing centre allwood? shitted all over him today. he should be dropped asap. & when chambers is back fanua should def keep a spot.

storm deserved to lose this game. they bombed so many chances, they should have easily won by 20-30. if bellamy was mad last week, would love to see his reaction after this crap.

I tell you what, I fear that the fact we snuck away with a win will overshadow some huge issues.

Wighton is a horrendous half, he always kicks too early in the count and always puts it up as a simple midfield bomb. He's an excellent winger and we could use one given Lee is out for the year - move him out there!

Our scrum defence on the blind side is diabolical. That fat, overgrown baby from the knights (Leilua) somehow made a few line breaks against the same thing last week and it happened all over again today.

Joel Edwards is an axe though, man he hits hard.

I don't see what the problem is... It looked short, it was inconclusive the camera angels, the touchie made the call, move on!!!!

Melbourne are a damn fine team and some of the try's they put on today were beautiful but cut out the rubbish above and just play football.

Hard to be overly sympathetic even though they got wronged by the ref.
