Yeah that's what I've heard for the last few years. Teams given extra tackles or scoring off blatant knock ons is fine as long as you've got time to overcome the refereeing errors. I said this last year after we were robbed against the sharks, the cowboys should send a request to the nrl that we start each game with a 12 point head start. After all, the opposition will still have 80 minutes to overcome the unfair deficit, so what's the problem?

Certainly agree the last try was a gift due to incompetent refs but nothing pleases me more than the cowpats being ripped off giving me the opportunity to come and read the meltdowns from their fans on here, especially Canard (honourable mention to Charlie).

Cowpats got the absolute rub of the green in the first half so they can't complain too much, the refs helped to shift the momentum after Manly started strongly.

Noone said bad calls are ever okay. Just that you shouldn't overturn results unless the mistake happened with no more time left to play because then you know with certainty if the mistake delivered the wrong result.

I can't remember a game between Manly and NQ in the last 3 years where it hasn't been ENTIRELY the refs fault according to Thurston and the majority of NQ fans.
