Mate, I'm a Broncos supporter. You've never overtly dudded my team, but I really feel for the Cows.

That's good to know.

FTR most Manly fans (firechild being a clear exception) sympathised with the Cowboys for that 2nd last try. It was definitely the wrong call.

Also I applauded the Cowboys on their first half performance. It was class and they looked as though they were going to kick on to an impressive win. But they ended up losing the game despite having 55% of the ball and more attacking opportunities in the opposition 20. If Manly deserved to lose tonight then the Cows didn't deserve to win just as much. The Cows let it slip after looking so good for most of the match.

That wasn't the winning try dickhead. The Cowboys took the lead after the obstruction try.

The Dragons were robbed just as much as the Cowboys.

I didn't say they weren't. But at the very least it was the on field referees that made the mistake in that game, which was proven to be a literally split second (0.6sec) decision that went against them.

Tonight was video refs with all the replays and the rule book at their disposal who still found a way to make sure the right team got the points. Like unsaid before, the cowboys do not win in NSW... No matter what.

I never said the try was fair, in fact my first post in this thread states that it was the wrong decision. My post in the referee watch thread says the same. My post was simply about the standard reaction from NQ fans. I wouldn't even say that I think Manly deserved to lose, they did well to stay in the game despite being staved of possession. The try should have been disallowed but who's to say they couldn't have scored after that? Manly have managed final minute wins on more occasions than pretty much any other club (you may recall the one at Suncorp against Brisbane among others). All we can say conclusively is that try should have been overturned and as I said in the referee watch thread, this demonstrates that the new system of the video ref having to conclusively overturn onfield decisions just isn't working.

Really feel sorry for the cowboys players and fans. I know how you are hurting. Cheated by the whistle blow jobs.

You can't continually rob a club of wins and then label them shit for not winning. We did everything to win that game tonight but we aren't able to change the rules on the go like the men in pink can.

Justifying what happened by labeling the team it happened to as shit is the easy way out. Subjective opinions aren't worth much here.

Subjective? I'll go on wins and losses, that's not really subjective, unless you're wearing a tinfoil hat like Charlie.

Not comparable to Monday night, which frankly was blown out of all proportion by the unique occurrence (time keeping errors happen fairly regularly, but I can't recall another one which changed the result of a game) and how hard we Saints fans took yet another loss in Melbourne. We don't really have any right to feel particularly aggrieved, given the incorrect call on the Merrin try, it just hurts like f**king hell to lose in such a manner to those pricks.

Tonight was a clear dud call by a video ref who had the benefit of watching the play over and over again, which proved to be the difference to between the two teams. Cows fans have a right to feel aggrieved, not just upset at the result.

Don't give me that crap, fire. Being in the negative on win/loss does not preclude a team from turning it around and getting back onto a winning track. If what you say is true, The Bulldogs wouldn't be at the top of the table right now.

It's comparable to Monday night. The video ref had a clear view with the Trent Merrin try and still awarded it. Yeah you still lost but that's because your team is shit.

The obstruction try was a no try. No-one doubts that. The Cows then led the game after that and lost. Feelfor them but they had every right to defend the lead from there.

For you to bleat and cry and try to not say its your Manly hate that has your panties in a twist is utter bullshit. Tough loss for the Cows but eat a dick to you. Every Manly win hurts you....love it.

My comment was in reference to their record in NSW, a point raised by Charlie (I did quote that in my reponse so it should have been clear what I was referring to). He thinks they never win because of a conspiracy, I said it was simply because they were shit. They might get dudded every now and then but the vast majority of their losses in NSW are simply the result of them playing poorly.

Yes, that is certainly true, but not this time. The final margin was 5. The Foran try was worth 6? (Did Lyon convert?). At the end of the day, it was the difference.

I know how to rob salt into wounds mate, but I've never spun things so much to suit my own narrative as much as you and the rest of your grubby merkin Manly supporters do when the men in pink allow you to get away with murder. When it comes to monumental referee f**kups in recent times, I can't think of one team that has benefited as much as Manly.

Queensland has benefitted more than any team in the history of sports
Manly is owed a premiership or 2 so bite me
