Carney's momentum had not stopped so he had every right to roll over and score.
You're clutching at straws for the Gordon strip on Seg - he knocked it down, it went backwards.

Maybe. But i see them as the equivalent of Whare being denied a try because Graham initiated contact on Docker. Graham was never stopping that try. Docker didn't help him out. But onfield decision is overturned.

Rewatch the Gordon knock down, clearly knocked towards penriths line into Segeyaro. Given the way calls went in this game it feels like Panthers would have been disallowed on those technicalities. While Sharks would have likely had that last try ruled.

Games always seems to favor one side. Today it was the Sharks. When have you ever seen a try not sent to video referee when it was as close as the Simmo/Whare one early on? It hurts no one to send it upstairs to be sure. Ruling a definitive no try only to have Sharks dcore that set potentially costs a team the game.

Im not looking up guidelines. The flag going up is the same as the ref blowing a whistle. Decision has been made and that's it.

How can a bloke's eyes be focused on both hands and feet at the same instant?

Should have gone upstairs. Better to call it in when its as close as this, as this can be overturned from upstairs.

Panthers aren't making the 8 this year. Gus's empire in trouble. Where are the world beating kids that were supposed to come along by now.

You're full of shit, as per. There is nothing wrong with the club in the long term. It's just the current side and tactics are somewhat less than optimal. The world-beating kids will turn up when they turn up.

Agreed sadly.

Can dominate games and have nothing to show for it. In close games we can get smashed on the scoreboard.

50/50s dont seem to go our way. We make stupid plays. Many great individual performers, but no resl cohesion as a team. But most importantly we have a small pack on the field that isn't effective. Segs, peach, Kingy and Docker is 4 light weight forwards. In attack can be a danger, defensively we give up a lot imo.

Brown isn't any better. Need some big boys and tackle busters in the side.
Last time i checked comps where not won this weekend. We are getting better each week. There is nothing you can do about refs decission.3 tries denied so we are getting there.Serious you always are doom and gloom. There was a lot of good today

I don't mean to disrespect Sharks efforts today either. Considering injuries they were phenomenal to keep themselves in the game. I think some luck helped them, but realistically luck shouldn't have played a part in this game. Panthers should have wrapped it up when Carney was injured. Just a bunch of dumb footballers.

It just hurts as i feel we did score a fair try only to not even have the video referee double check it, then immediately lose the lead. Then when we finally score what should have been the match winner. Have it denied because a Sharks player took the ddcoy who stopped in the line and he was never a chance at stopping the try anyway.

Graham only had eyes for one person. Yet gets rewarded for it. Heartbreaking stuff ontop of allthose other dud calls. But we shouldnt need luck to win games. We need a decent forward pack. The second Taylor was out, we had lost our only big second rower with a work ethic. Instead relying on tiny forwards and sima manu who is lazy.

I meant long-term in terms of the next few years; I don't think we make the 8 either.

There's a big difference between not thinking the current side is all that great and claiming that our club is in trouble in general. BM can f**k off and comment on his own club.

They didn't send the f#####g thing upstairs because the f#####g touchie deemed the foot on the line whilst still in contact with the ball. Simple, decision made, move on. People winge the refs don't make a decision and when they do the same f#####s complain!

We dominated the game and lost. Same as we have fone a few times. Sharks losing their 5/8 and still beating us.

Comps aren't won now. But points to get you into the 8 are as important today as round 26. We are losing half our games even with possession and field position to win them. We have no luck from refs, but we also haven't got the character to overcome bad luck. Genuine premiership threats do. We are clearly not a premiership threat. We will he lucky to be in the top 8.

With 4/6 points on the line and a call like this, how can you back a human to getit right with the naked eye? This wasn't an obvious tackle i to touch and offload to be tackled in field of play. It was a passback for a try in a split second.

Touchies have put flags up many times for video referee to still be called in. In this case tgey simply send it up as no try, video refs find evidence to overturn it or agree with it.

No second look is a joke.nothing is lost by confirming it.

Wallace did pass it to Moylan in a smooth attacking back line play that ended well so that's an improvement.

Well none of it matters now. Whether refs f**ked up or not. The wrong team won or not. The result won't change. Sharks got the 2 points and Panthers get nothing except for a negative f/a.

Seriously can't believe Panthers have shown no signs of improvement since round 1 yet. Luck is one thing. But wasting a decent roster is another.
