Bad luck Panthers fans. We were lucky today & you were unlucky.

Having been on the end of many last minute losses, it was good to see that last
Decision go our way.

Don't give up on the semis yet, long way to go. You'll get better....& other teams will decline.

The Storm game in R2 was probably our gutsiest performance as well. But then the Titans and Warriors go there and win, just to cheapen that as well :)

That second half is our best 40 minutes of the season by far. Still lost though. We can fight hard. So some true grit. But we are still soft at times and no better today then we were over a month ago.

Cheers Cardshark.

It's the win you really needed to get yourselves back on track.

After all that your club has been through, your team deserves to be a lot higher than you are.

And as you said, plenty of time to get a few wins together, for both of our sides.

In sating that, theres usually about 4 to 6 games where teams usually get at their playing fitness.

Because of the unsavory weather (for some teams),I'd like to add another month on that.

With 4/6 points on the line and a call like this, how can you back a human to getit right with the naked eye? This wasn't an obvious tackle i to touch and offload to be tackled in field of play. It was a passback for a try in a split second.

Touchies have put flags up many times for video referee to still be called in. In this case tgey simply send it up as no try, video refs find evidence to overturn it or agree with it.
.

The call definitely looked close enough to be worth a look, but couldn't Cronulla argue that they stopped defending once the flag went up. I think the ones where they go to the video ref when the flag has gone up are when the flag is after the try has been scored.

There's a bit of a problem in situations like this. It seems problematical in a split second situation for a linesman to be viewing both the hands and the feet of the same player at the same time. Better that he doesn't put the flag up unless 200% certain, which I don't think he could have been in this instance.

Still, the Panthers should have been a mile ahead before this with the run of the game they'd had, especially in the first half. It really is the story of our season.

A Fair win to the Sharkies. Extremely disappointed that the last try was disallowed but it was a fair call. Rules are rules.

Well done Cronulla, obviously wanted the win a lot more than we did.

I just wish that we could play a game of footy and have a comfortable lead for once instead of this 2-4 point hair-greying nerve-wracking bullshit for the duration of the bloody game!
