Origin defence by Mullen there.

The Knights are just cumbersome. Slow and devoid of ideas. Very one dimensional in the forwards with no creativity out of dummy half.

I can't see any quick fix for them either.

Good win even though the Knights were bad. Nice to score some points and defence is on the improve. Attack is so much better with Segs and without Kingston.

It's unfortunate. Mullen could be a genuine series winner playing behind a forward pack that knows how to lay a foundation.

Instead, we'll have the Maloney/Pearce show derping it up and costing us another series.

Bennett is a coach that makes sure that wherever he goes,he has more than a 90% chance of inheriting a premiership, than actually building one.

This club now shows Bennett for what he actually is,a hack.

I wouldn't go so far as to say he is a hack, but he has certainly been made to look good by the clubs he has wisely chosen to be at. Coaching Brisbane in the period he was there was akin to being the coach for Brazil in football, and the Dragons had a pretty good squad when he came in.

He was hired to rebuild the club and turn us into something special, and he simply hasn't delivered on that at all.

The halves don't cost NSW the series.

IMO the QLD spine has been WINNING the series for 8 years.

Lockyer, JT, Slater, Inglis, Cronk, Smith ... they're just much, much better than the likes of Pearce, Maloney, Mullen and whoever else has been in the halves during this span.

So again, I don't believe it's about the halves costing NSW. More about being up against a much better team and a spine who are born winners that take the game by the scruff of the neck.

Aren't you a Roosters fan? I wouldn't expect you to accept the role of Pearce, in particular, in our failure to perform.

I do agree that the QLD spine has been key to their success, but last I checked, #7 was part of the spine and it's there that we've lagged farthest behind IMO.

What drugs are you on man? Are you suggestig that the 08 Dragons squad + Boyd, Weyman, Costigan, Smith, and Priddis = instant Premiership?

You're absolutely delusional to think that given Pearce royally f**ked NSW over trying to seek glory and be the hero.

I feel bad for Pearce. The poor kid keeps getting picked despite being hopelessly out of his depth. It must be doing his head in.

Haha. Bj is such a derp.

He should come and play for us, he'd fit right in

talented? check
shit for brains? check

Last year he got this team within a game of the Grand Final, to me that his greatest coaching achievement to date.

Buderus made a huge difference... now we have Gidley.

Referee calls drop out, knights whinge, ref goes upstairs.

Okay then.

I'd have whined too seeing as it was obvious live it wasn't off Uate.

Tommy's blind, deluded defence of his team's pathetic halfback always brings the laughs. Poor simple merkin
