All four slaughtered all competition just 5 months ago. 5 months a bad player does not make.

They were already on the decline a year ago but their greatness meant it would still take a while before they reached the levels of the mortals.

It's not just losing some ability, I think it's also partly them choosing to pick their battles at their age and making club footy a priority. Their heart isn't in it.

On 2014 form Friend, DCE, Sutton and GI are the best hooker, half, 5/8 and FB in the NRL. They deserve to be there. If we were smart we'd have used this test to blood the next generation.
