ago a few of us started internetting and found a common location to talk all things Sharks.
We have written and argued for hours, across 4 of 5 incarnations of forums, over players, selections, coaches, tactics, stats, records,management, directors etc. all In an effort to unlock the reasons as to why our obsession, was such a consistent failure.
Well the pot of gold is in our sights and it looks glorious. I have no doubt that we are going to bring it home on Sunday night. I will be at the game and at the ground at midnight when it arrives home with our boys.
To all of you folks , thank you for all the discussions and banter over these years.
Well done you idiots for your loyalty to your compulsive obsession.
Rip to those that we lost along the way. and didn't get to see this remarkable week.
Only we know how this feels. We have watched the other clubs bribe , cheat and steal their way to glory time and time again. meanwhile we festered with jealousy wondering when our time would come.
Only we know this feeling.
Only we will ever experience this joy.

Because of these forums the original CSSC was created. I think I joine the forum in high school in about 2003.

I actually had a few blokes I met in the CSSC become good mates and attend my wedding etc. even scored a job in the government through those sharks connections.

This place is still a lunatic asylum.

Yes but whatever happens I agree that this is our week to enjoy and like I've been saying (mainly to myself) all season is just enjoy the ride, enjoy being a Sharks supporter and the fact that we are playing well and we have won many in a row. Now we're in the big dance, and to me thats almost as special as winning it. But of course... We need to win it.

A couple of our forum brothers have lost love ones recently (sharkman, Ar'old, Windy) & others have passed over the years, never seeing a GF.

yes we have lost a few in the chase for glory, my dear old mum and my kids wouldn't miss a game at shark park for years, went to my first game in 1979 against souths, we rocked up to Endeavour and it was an away game so off to Redfern so a quick panic down to redfern but we made it, Sludge kicked the first goal after 2 minutes and we went down 42 to 2. I was hooked a shark for life. mum passed in 2001 never to see us win.

So if anyone from the club reads this can they ask the players to not only do it for us but for those that died black white and blue.

I don't know what to feel right now, actually haven't all finals series, my broncos supporting mate keeps telling me that we have it and to stop worrying, I hope he is right, can you just imagine how it will feel on Sunday night, either way it will end in tears.

Loved the days of the inner tube and the duck,
It was munch fun, but still is . Good to see some come back. Lo times around the mass exit re Carney debacle but f**k it's been my most constant place on the net.
