Tipped Dragons because Smith was out, now looking like he might play lol.

Now looks like we'll only win by 30, rather than my predicted 50.

You get the distinct feeling that Laurie Daley is picking Mary's team for him.

There is a vacancy at fullback in the NSW team, hence Duges is back to fullback.

Anyway, I think the Storm will win this.

Storm are going in with patchy pre-season form and a young forward pack which will go well against the Dragons.

Felise Kaufisi (bro of Antonio) is on the bench and plays the same style as his brother...hard and straight.

Finucane adds some aggro to the pack as well which is good to see.

Love a good season opener against the Dragons!

The rivalry has always been there since Ainscough guillotined Craig Smith to hand Melbourne victory in the 1999 decider. 6 months later, The Mouth firmly put his foot in his mouth in the lead up to the MCG replay resulting in a 70-10 flogging. He f**ked off to boxing the very next week.

Then how can we all forget that chilly April night in 2008 when Jamie Soward didn't like being tackled and then started a fight in which Nightingale headbutted Billy Slater then had the audacity to whine like a little whipped pup when Slater belted the bejesus outta him.

I cherish these moments.

Wasn't that the same night poor old Jason Ryles got sent off simply for practising his Irish dancing in a scrum?

yes. Yes it was. I was there that night.

Ryles was baited in to it by either Jeff Lima or Sika Manu with a deft little niggle in the front row.

It's Monday nite so i am not that worried about the crowd.
It's Monday night footy. I love Monday Night footy.
I am surprised it is not the Sharkies playing, they are the Monday nite specialists.
Has that Batton now been passed to the Dragons. ?
Or Titans. Both.

I think Dragons can win this, aside from a lack of size and aggression in the front row, they have a solid side across the park IMO.

Could do with a better centre pairing, but with guys waiting for a shot there's pressure on these guys to perform. Wingers are awesome, the spine is awesome and they have enough decent forwards to match most packs. I can see them being a fringe top 8 side this year.
