I've never seen a video ref call for a field goal to see if there was any reason at all to disallow it in the lead up. If the referees were as biased as some are saying. They wouldn't be looking so hard to disallow a match winning play.

The best I could get was the MMM call. They called it a goal on the spot.

Can't believe we lost that, Penrith looked like a rabble and kept dropping it. It was ours for the taking and we blew it.:crazy::crazy:

It was pretty deflating being behind the sticks and seeing how far off those field goal attempts were.

It's only appropriate that a game like that is relegated to monday night. Horrendous

They will have to do something about that surface. It's not Penrith-like to play the way they did in the first half.

You would have realised that after the the game against your side.

Obviously the players discussed the ground during half time, and played accordingly in the 2nd half.

Manly are just so bad.

One of the most dramatic falls from grace in recent memory.

But according to some dopey merkins on here they were gonna be all good this year, particularly the signing of Mason. :sarcasm:

As a Panthers tragic, in pains me to say this, but Manly were probably the better side on the night, but made too many mistakes and lacked intensity/fitness/something in that last 15 minutes, when the game was there to be won. Good to see snake bag a double, he looked dangerous when he got his hands on the ball and had a real go.

If Moylan is not NSW fullback, there needs to be an investigation.

It will never happen so long as Daley is coach. He likes bash and barge, not ball movement and finesse. Strange considering the side he played in.

Maybe you are like us, Diablo, maybe you just don't want your boy to be unavailable for club games.

Just watching the replay, overall with the obvious exception of the first 20 minutes or so,the Panthers were the better side for most of the game.

Especially when you throw in the fact that we kept them scoreless in the 2nd half at fortress brokevale,it was quite an achievement.

And in fact Manly didn't score again for the next 57 minutes of the game after their 2nd try.

Was a bludger of a game and disappointing to be one the wrong side of it but both teams tried their best to lose.

Moylan had a great game but I think (and no doubt I'm biased) Brett Stewart outplayed him. Hard to believe the Snake won't be playing origin with his current form.
