Surely that's a penalty against Gillett?
A team containing Hodges have no right to blow up about that.

Have Brisbane conceded a penalty at home all season? 0 penalties in this half.

They're always flawless in the refs eyes at Suncorp.

Gus talks up the teams that are winning so he can appear to still actually have a clue what he is talking about. Nothing to do with what state the teams are from. He did it with the Kiwis in the test match when they were winning at half time, even though he spent the entire pre match segment jerking it to the kangaroos

So what was he supposed to do at halftime during that match, talk about how bad the new Zealanders were going? Of course he was going to praise them after that performance.
Before the match he wasn't the only one to think Australia were going to win, every australian involved in the press thought it was going to be an aussie win, new Zealand were +$3 in the betting market, while new Zealands 6 and 7 were badly out of form and australias key players were in amazing form during that match. He got it wrong but at least he gave credit were credit was due when the Kiwis ssmashed us

I left the bit out when he claimed that he knew the kiwis would lead at half time by a considerable amount.

It's strange, the old 'Suncorp Aura'.

The fans are dead quiet, rarely cheer, rarely boo for penalties, it's like they go to just suck each other off until they score a try, then they clap and smile towards the players like its a North Korean parade.

Also, there's your 10 mil worth.
