The are always players offside throughout the game that don't get penalised, but when they make contact with the ball it's like a professional foul, except they don't get sinbined for it !
It's a bad way to lose, but it was the right call !
Other calls did go our way during the game that normally don't go in our favour.
You do realise if the Mead try the week before was correctly called as a no try, we would have finished in 7th and above the defending premiers ! With at least 5 replays and they still got that wrong !

So basically what you're saying is, half the team can be 5 metres off side but as long as they don't come into contact with the ball it's okay? what about the pressure being applied aswell? the opposing player has to also react to what's in front of him, which can put him off

I was at the game last night and when Patty went for one of his closest shots I reckon there was probably about 4 Saints players at marker. No doubt that would have put him off, but I guess you can't get everything go your way

Fair play Dragons, good luck

So in the Raiders eels game Dave shillington was literally next to the play the ball at marker to charge down Corey Normans field goal. Play on. We won't see it penalised again.

I'm not saying it's right, but it's not the first time in history that a penalty isn't given !
Players from all teams do it, but it doesn't always result in a penalty.
They all try to see if they can get away with it !
Anyway, we will need all the luck we can get !
Cheers
