I think this will be a very close game - a couple of key factors will be, how will it be refereed and the weather. I hear rain is forecast - so get on the Dogs by 6.

I used to think we weren't a wet weather side but we lost narrowly to Storm, arguably the best in the wet, at AAMI earlier in the year in horrendous conditions. There was one handling error for the entire 80 if memory serves. Would prefer a dry track of course.

I have to tip the dogs. If uncle Todd does his job and lets Kasiano and Pritchard play then we are in with a chance. More hopeful than confident.

There was an obvious difference in the top 4 v bottom 4 games. The top 4 looked so much more polished. Hard to see the dogs or sharks being genuine title contenders.

I'm expecting a close game in the first 30 mins Bulldogs to tire and let in 2 late tries.
Then another close 20 minutes before the roosters run over them in the last 20.

Hard to see it happen, but hoping for the Bulldogs to win. Used to like the Roosters but all their whining has made them undesirable.
They'll be hard to stop though, 24-10

Dogs have been pretty poor the last few weeks - but Dessie will have a cunning plan

Hopefully this allows a free flowing game like all games were last weekend except for the first game.

I expect a much better roosters team but write the dogs off at your own peril, this will be close.

Well said.

I think people are getting carried away saying the Dogs and Roosters played poorly last game.

The Roosters where fairly good all game, just lacked execution at key moments and the Storm got some very good results from kicks.

Dogs were actually fairly good for the first 40 minutes, perhaps they lacked a bit of composure and direction in the 2nd 40. But people are underestimating the Dragons who if nothing else give it everything they had for the full 84 minutes.

Both matches were semi final standard, perhaps not as good as the Broncos/Cowboys games.

I agree both teams will improve significantly this week.
IMO the Roosters don't need that much improvement, they will be hard to beat.
The Dogs are going to have to go up a couple of cogs to match the Roosters, but I think they will.

I see it as similar to the Dogs/Dragons match except this time the Dogs are the underdog.

You can never be sure , but I expecting another close nerve-racking game,
