I thought we played very well in the 2nd half. Lucky call with the Evans try but at the same time pretty weak sauce defence to let him carry 5 of you over the line to even have a chance at putting it down.

The bay next to us was all dogs fans and the police absolutely cleared the place out after the RTS try. A bug group of 20-30 dogs fans just started going feral and threatening to bash the roosters fans in our bay that were stirring them up and got frog marched out one by one :lol:

I reckon this clear out stopped any real blow ups in the area and settled the tension as the remaining dogs fans just sat there and took the loss quietly.


Don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but the dogs players were all class after fulltime towards the dogs faithful who stuck around after fulltime. Came over the the sideline and thanked the fans, and Frank Pritchard was even handing out high fives and hugs to everyone, then even took one of the fan signs about him and held it up to the crowd and cameras. Nice thing to see the players aknowledge and try to really lift the spirits of all the fans when plenty of other players would just cry and sulk off to the sheds (looking at you, souffs)

I don't f**king get their self-created hype about their supposed finals footy expertise. They haven't won a competition in 11 years, but they want you to believe they've won about 3 in the last 5 years or so

Geez it was disappointing to see the boys just fold in defence after that dodgy try.

Completely changed the momentum but ultimately we didn't have the mental toughness to go on with it and it kind of typified our year, particularly how things went after Good Friday through to Origin.

Good luck Roosters next week - I'm hoping for a Storm/Broncos or Sharks/Broncos decider tbh.

To be honest about this game,the Roosters were relentless up the middle.

The Dogs started as well as they could,but for some reason,the intensity wasn't there for the entire game.

Not having your gamehead on for certain periods of any semi-final,and Easts will burn any side.

I'd say Bennett,really has a challenge on his hands when this Roosters team plays better than they did tonight.

Please. Eastwood was trying to tackle Marshall to the ground. Shit technique and I hope he learns from it but he wasn't intentionally trying to injure him. As for the Kasiano/Pritchard incident, :lol: he got up and kicked the goal after he won the race to the ball. Trying to injure? :lol:

The score was 8-4. A four point margin became 10 points on the back of a blatantly incorrect call and the 'Dogs gave up. Given the way the previous match went between the teams (Roosters up 22-0 before we went 28-22 in front).

I don't think we would have won but the remaining half hour could have been vastly different.

Doesn't change the fact we lost and the Roosters were obviously the better team, but it's worth consideration and discussion.

Good luck to the Roosters anyway, they're a quality side.
